| Below are links to the Smothers Biographies that I have written so far. More are on the way. All are works in progress and will change as new information becomes available to me. Eventually, I will include biographies on ancestors outside my direct Smothers line, as well as on my wife's ancestors, and perhaps even some distant cousins. You can also link to the Smothers Biographies through the Smothers Tree page, which of course has the advantage of showing the family relationships. Please be aware that everything I have written in the biographies is subject to error. While I do not make up people and events from whole cloth, I do present what is at times just my opinions and my interpretation of scant historical records and colorful family folklore.
