Officer of the 1^st Punjab Cavalry?

Photograph and Uniform Details.

I believe this photograph is of an officer in the 1^st Punjab Cavalry. See the illustrations, plate 13, plate 20 and pages 118-119 in W.Y. Carman's, Indian Army Uniforms under the British from the 18 ^th Century to 1947, Cavalry volume, London : Morgan-Grampian, 1961. In fact, it appears that this photograph could be a photograph of the officer in the center of plate 13 and 20 as a junior officer. Does anyone know who this officer is? Could he be Lt. Col. John Richard Breeks Atkinson, Commandant of the 1st Punjab Cavalry?
